Trick or Treat? Halloween Sweets

Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! Whether or not you like being tricked this time of year, there’s no doubt about it, Halloween is a time for sweet treats.

From caramel apples and chocolate bars to jelly beans and gummies, there’s bound to be some kind of candy that is sure to please and send you off with enough sugar to last until Christmas!

Caramel Apples

The caramel apple is one of our most requested and favorite treats our shop offers, especially around Halloween. Originally created in the 1950’s, the caramel apple was invented by a Kraft Foods employee who was experimenting with how to use leftover caramels from Halloween. By melting them down and dipping the creamy caramel in apples, a classic fall treat was created.

Here at Sweet P’s, we offer a few different varieties of this crowd pleasing favorite on a stick. Whether you’re into the traditional plain caramel or want to take it up a notch with nuts, chocolate or sprinkles, we’ve got you covered.

And for those who enjoy the scary side of the holiday, you’ll definitely want to check out our Tricky Treats variety box this Halloween. Chocolate ghouls and goblins, gravestones or some flaming hot Cheetos! Your taste buds will be pleasantly tricked and treated with this spooky assortment.

With Halloween right around the corner, and many area communities still uncertain whether or not they will be hosting a traditional trick or treating event, consider supporting a local business who specializes in the art of sweet treats! We’d love to have you stop down to visit our shop and stock up on as many delicious delights as possible.

You can find most of Sweet P’s treats easily available to purchase online at www.sweetpspantry.com. Arrange for curbside pickup, local delivery or USPS shipping.
